"Abbie Kimball Mackay Lindberg, age 92, passed away peacefully April 11, 1993, at her home in Salt Lake City.
Born July 27, 1900, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Wilford Alfonzo and Louisa Ella Free Kimball. She married Vernon Winder Mackay, October 12, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death, January 5, 1972. She married Alfred Dunn Lindberg, June 12, 1974, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an excellent seamstress and known for beautiful quilts. She also enjoyed writing rhymes, for family and friends. Active member of the LDS Church, she served faithfully in stake and ward primary and Relief Society callings. Member of the DUP. She was a dear sweet wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be remembered with love and affection always.
Suvived by her husband Alfred; two daughters, June (husband, Robert S..) Croft, and Elaine (husband, Ed) Ottley, all from Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Thurs. April 15th, 12 noon, at the Parleys First Ward, 2350 So. 2100 East. Friends may call Weds. from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church Thurs. from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery."
