--George A. Kile, aged 74 years, native of the Nichols community, and lifelong resident of this county, died Tuesday night in the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. H. Schumacher, 308 Busch street, following an attack of paralysis.
--He was born June 15, 1861, near Nichols and grew to manhood there. His marriage to Miss Dora LIncoln took place Sept. 1, 1898. She died in 1899. He had farmed near Nichols until 15 years ago when he retired and had since made his home with his daughter here.
--Surviving are his daughter; two grandchildren; a brother, Louis, Nichols; three sisters: Mesdames Sadie Kaiser, Danube, Minn.; Callie Range, Milford, and Linnie Burkart, West Liberty; and a half-sister, Mrs. Hattie James, West Liberty.
--Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Grace Lutheran church with the Rev. Leland Lesher in charge. Burial will be in the family lot in the Nichols cemetery.
