Julia English, wife of Kenneth L English, of Russell, RFD 2, died Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock at the Warren General Hospital, where she had been for treatment the past two weeks. Mrs. English was born October 5,1868 and was married December 31, 1891 at Olean. She came to Russell 28 years ago to make her home. She was a member of the Trinity Union Sunday School and served as it's superintendent until failing health made it necessary for her to resign.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons and a daughter: Henry L and Norman M, North Warren; W. LaVerne, Warren; Mrs. Hugh Barrett, Warren-Jamestown road; also two sisters, Mrs. H.M. Krimbill, Tulsa, Okla, and Mrs. William Gross, Cyclone. Another sister, Mrs. Eva Scowden of Smethport, preceded her in death two months ago and a brother, James, died eight years ago. Besides those named above, she leaves 14 grandchildren.
The Rev. Ralph Richardson will conduct the funeral from the Peterson Funeral Parlors at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Russell. The body has been removed to the funeral home and friends may call there at any time.
