McMinnville resident and Pleasant Shade native Flossie Beatrice Wilmore Bost, 88, was born Jan. 19, 1921 and died July 9 at NHC
Healthcare in McMinnville following a brief illness.

A homemaker and member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Otis Howard and Claudia Alice
Kemp Wilmore.

She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for over 50 years. She was married Aug. 1, 1940 to Norman Trail Bost, who preceded her in death April 15, 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Guy Eugene, Harry and Julian Wilmore, and sister, Ruth Davis.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Brenda Bost and Joe and Linda Bost, all of McMinnville, and Chris and Dena Bost of Mt. Juliet; five grandchildren, Tracey Loyd, Mike Bost, Samantha Case, Joshua Bost and Allison Bost; nine great-grandchildren, Harry Loyd, George Loyd, Noah Bost, Katie Bost, Kristin Bost, Karigan Bost, Mary Case, Tyler Case and Micah Bost; sister, Louise Tubb of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in High's Chapel with Lanny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service today at High's.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
