Richard had a brother named John “Jack” Allen, who lived in Liverpool, England. Jack and his wife, Elizabeth Battersby had three children, who needed care; 1) *George (1891-1930, md. Juanita “Sarah” Cutler, buried in Snowville) and 2) Sarah Allen (1895-1980, md. Nathan Andrew Wheeler, buried in Brigham City, mother to Peggy Wheeler Neal). & 3) Ellen Allen md. Charles Butterfield (div.-moved to California). Jack died when Sarah Allen (2y) and her mother was killed in a train accident when Sarah was seven. Richard and Peggy didn’t have any children, so they had Sarah, George, and Ellen come to live with them in Wyoming. Later, they moved to the Curlew Valley Snowville, Box Elder Co., UT and then just across the state border in Stone, Oneida, ID. They owned the store and dance hall in Stone. The dance hall was donated for the Stone Church.
