On June 20, 1923, Vanetta Olson Dutson and Eben Grant Dutson were married. Vanetta was born in Millville, the daughter of Olaf and Hulda Nielson Olson. She attended Millville School, and she later worked for many years as a seamstress at Cache Knitting Mills and Logan Knitting Mills.

They made their home in Nibley.

Vanetta was a member of the Sunflower Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and for years served as Organist in that organization. She was active in LDS Church work through­out her life, mainly in musical capacities.

Vanetta and Eben celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1973.

The children of Eben and Vanetta are: Elaine D. Gilgen; LaRue D. Wilcox, ReNee D. Kohler, Rose Ann D. Womack and Gayla D. Hovey.
