Services for Nannie May Darter will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Darter died June 10 in Pleasanton, Texas. She moved to Casa Grande from Tennessee in 1912 and lived here until 1968, when she moved to Texas. She was born Sept. 7, 1896 in Cummingsville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Darter was a founding member of the Casa Grande Church of Christ, an American Gold Star Mother, a life member of the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary, belonged to the Casa Grande Women's Club and a member of the Federation of Republican Women.
Survivors include one son, C.U. Darter, of Scottsdale; one daughter, Olita Saylor, of Pleasenton, TX; three brothers, from out of state; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Henry Guy Darter, preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1929.
Keith Cain will officiate at the Monday service. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery at Casa Grande.
