Ethel Hall

Visitation of Ethel Hall, a lifteime resident of Norfork, will be from 9AM to 9PM today at the Roller Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 7-9PM. Mrs. Hall, 79, died Wednesday at Baxter County Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2PM Saturday at the Old Galatia Church with the Rev. Elvis Woods officitating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery with Marvin Adams, L.D. 'Jack' Adams, George Clark, Harold Clark, Meryl Clark and Roe Whitfield serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Bill Hall, Vedrun Hall, Loren Hall, Charlie Hall and Ray Hall.

Survivors include two sons, L.D. 'Jack' Adams of Norfork and Marvin Dean Adams of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Lillian Cunningham of Norfork; five stepsons, Bill Hall of Mtn. Home, Vedrum Hall of Norfork, Loren Hall of Kansas City, MO, Charlie Hall of Dolph and Ray Hall of Calico Rock; three step daughters, Bernice Vines of Melbourne, Mildred Southard of Jordan and Wilma White of Calico Rock; one sister, Rosie Richey of Versailes, MO; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Doug and Martha Mayberry Woods; her first husband, James Adams; her second husband, Orvil Hall; two sons, four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Hall, a housewife, was born Oct 16, 1905, at Norfork. She was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church.

Arrangements were by Roller Funeral Home.

(She was Ethel Hall at the time of her death, but she was buried beside her first husband under the name of Ethel Adams. The death date is not inscribed on the tombstone.)

NOTE: The birth date is inscribed October 16, 1909; however, the obituary gives the birth date as October 16, 1905.
