Born Sept. 9, 1914 in Van Buren county, near Bonaparte, she was the daughter of Charles and Emma Simmons Wagner. She was married to Harold Marriott for more than 60 years. He died Oct. 28, 2000.
Mrs. Marriott was a graduate of Bonaparte High School. She lived in Chicago, IL for many years and returned to Iowa in 1982. She worked at the Olson Rug Co in Chicago.
She loved to be at home and enjoyed growing flowers in her garden.
She is survived by nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
There will be no visitation.
The graveside service for Mrs. Marriott will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Thompson cemetery, near Bonaparte, with Pastor Mike Shea officiating.
Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.
