Mrs. Susan H. Snook died Saturday, July 20, 1912, in the Hollidaysburg Hospital, aged 74 years, 1 month and 10 days, Mrs. Snook was the wife of Harry D. Snook whose death occurred August 16, 1895. To their union, fourteen children were born, two of whom died in infancy.

The twelve living sons and daughters are: Oliver P. Snook of Newtown, Burnham,; John H. Snook of Racine, Wisconsin; Willis L. Snook of Lima, Ohio; Mowery Snook of Newton Falls, Ohio; Andrew C. Snook of Lewistown; Joseph H. Snook of Belltown, this county; Lemon E. Snook of Beaver Springs; Mrs. Dorthy (Harry) Leeper; Perle Snook of Burnham; Mrs. Viola (Elmer) Simmons of Racine, Wisconsin; Mrs. Ada (Thomas) Johnson of Mt. Union; Mrs Lucinda (George) Clemens of Lewistown.
