Perle N. Snook, Freedom Avenue, Burnham died at his home Thursday evening. He was born May 6, 1878 at Hope Furnace, the son of Harry D. and Susan H. MOWERY Snook, he was 78.

Surviving are his wife, Edna LINHURST Snook and these children: Mrs. William (Helen) Lee of Cape May, N.J., Wilfred Snook of _____, Mrs. Max (Catherine) Aurand of Burnham, ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Among the survivors is a brother, Lemon Snook of Yeagertown.

Pallbearers were William Galvin, Belmar Leeper, Harry Leeper, Fern Snook, Dale Snook, and Ira Snook. Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. M.F. Warntz. Mr. Warntz took his text from John 14 and also read from Psalm 23, Isaian 40 28-31 and Rev. 7:___. He recited the hymns, "It's Only Going Home" and "Some Day He'll Make It Plain."

The deceased was a member of the Burnham EUB Church and the Newtown Fire Co.
