CRANE — Funeral services are scheduled for Nettie Laverne Tarpley, 70, of Crane, who died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992 at Crane Memorial Hospital, at 2 p.m. at Crane Christian Church. The Rev. Jim Hester will officiate with burial in Crane County Cemetery.
Mrs. Tarpley was born June 4, 1921 in Ivanhoe. She married Leonard Leon Tarpley on Dec. 24, 1936 in Bonham. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1977.
Survivors include, three daughters, Mrs. Lou Ann Kennedy, Mrs. Barbara Leach, both of Crane, and Pamela Tarpley of Abilene; four sons, Len Wood Tarpley, Floyd Leon Tarpley, both of Crane, Leonard Weldon Tarpley, of Corpus Christi and Ronald Lee Tarpley of Bull Head City, Arizona; three sisters, Darlene Jarvis, Joyce Davis and Hope Brown, all of Bonham, 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Richard W. Box Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
