Harvey Delbert Bassett, 89, died Friday, September 26, 1980 in Cedar City, Utah. He was born June 27, 1891 in Afton, Wyoming, the son of David Edwin and Eliza Jane Bassett. He married Alta Thaxton December 22, 1920. She died in 1973. He was a retired farmer and had worked for Great Western Sugar Co. for many years.
He is survived by four sons, Jack Thaxton Bassett, Bobby Jean Bassett, Dick Marvin Bassett, and Wilmer Thaxton Bassett; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovell, Wyoming Stake Chapel. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
