MRS. ALEXANDER, 76, DIES HERE WEDNESDAY

Funeral Services Thursday For Woman Who Came From Germany 69 Years Ago

Mrs. Rosine Alexander, 76, widow of the late George Alexander, died at her residence, 212 Santa Clara Street, at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Alexander was a native of Germany and had resided in San Antonio 69 years.

She is survived by her sons, Henry Alexander of New Braunfels and George Alexander, foreman of the ad alley of San Antonio Express, and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Stapper of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Webber of Fredricksburg; two brothers, Christian Loeffler and Adolph Loeffler of Hilda, Tex.; 20 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Brunhilde lodge of the Hermann Sons.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon, Rev. Luther Schliesser of St. John's Lutheran church, officiating. Grandsons will act as pallbearers.
