Bertha Irene Morrell Baird, 76, passed away at the North Big Horn Hospital on November 24. She was born January 16, 1898 at Fremont, Utah, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Elmer Morrell. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church and was a retired school principle. She was principle in the Lovell School system 20 years prior to her retirement. She worked a total of thirty-nine and one-half years as a teacher and principle.

She married William Wallace Baird March 22, 1919 at Billings, Montana.
She is survived by her husband and two brothers, Mr. Thomas Brian Morrell of Lovell, Wyoming and Ludean T. Morrell of Idaho, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the L.D.S. Stake House Chapel in Lovell. Interment will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Bishop Walter Mayer. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of the arrangements.
