November 25, 1939 - July 2, 2009

Eddyth "Eddie" Di Loreto passed away at the age of 69 at her residence at Stonegate in Tres Pinos on July 2nd, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.

"Eddie," as she was affectionally known, was a native of Columbus, OH, and had moved to San Benito County 14 years ago with her husband Michael from Diamond Bar, in Los Angeles County.

Eddie was a licensed Real Estate Broker, affiliated with Coldwell Banker-Pivetti Real Estate in Hollister; was also a talented interior designer on a professional basis having studied interior design at Fullerton College in Southern California. She continued to further her education by studying in the Para-Legal Program at DeAnza College. Eddie's mother, Agnes stated that her daughter was a very charming person and exuded joy where ever she was.

Eddie enjoyed modeling and modeled locally for She's Clothing. She was known as a great advocate of animals, especially cats.

Her memberships included the Red Hat Society-Tres Pinos Foxy Ladies; Ladies of Hollister- formerly Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and the Hollister Women's Club.

Besides her loving husband of 40 years Michael Di Loreto, Eddie is survived by her mother Agnes V. Haddox of San Diego; her son Frank W. Ackerman of N. Carolina; grandchildren Dillon, Madeline, Daniel, and Katlyn; and her very best friend, Julie Hayward of Los Angeles.

Visitation was held Monday July 6th, 2009, at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, in Hollister, at which time a celebration of her life was held. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to "All Creatures Great & Small" c/o the mortuary chapel. Services provided by: Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory, Hollister, CA.
