Mrs. Martha Duncan Buried at Old Houlka

Martha E Duncan was born August 18, 1869, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will James, March 13, 1937.

She was married to George Stafford in 1887. To this union were born five boys, Mack, Callie, Hubert, Leonard and Ellie, and two girls, Bessie and Georgia.

In 1911, she married Mr. Butts and to this union were born two children, Lizzie and Gordon.

On July 21, 1928, she married Z T Duncan.

She was the faithful mother of nine children, a beautiful Christian, a good neighbor, and a much loved friend. She did what she could in every duty of life. As a Christian she was faithful and the Lord rewarded her Christian efforts by calling one of her boys into the work of the ministry. She leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn her departure.

We extend our sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. Will James, by the writer. Interment was made in the Old Houlka cemetery
