MRS. VENUS HARE

Mrs. Venus Hare, 69, of 423 N. State St., Wilson District, Clairton, died yesterday in McKeesport Hospital. Friends are to be received at the J. Sam Whetsel Funeral Home, Wilson District, Clairton, beginning at 7 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Born Sept. 21, 1890, in New England Hollow, now Dravosburg, Mrs. Hare was a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Barnes Brown. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Clairton and the National Women's Relief Society of the church.

Surviving are her husband, Lee R. Hare; two daughters, Miss Emma Grace Hare at home and Mrs. Genevieve Sill of Layton, Utah; two sons, Frank of Ogden, Utah and Donald of Silver Spring, Md.; six sisters, Mrs. Isabell Sneed of Ellwoood City and Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons of Blackfoot, Ida., Mrs. Rosella Kemmerer of Jeanette, Mrs. Alice Ellenwood of South Barre, Vermont and Mrs. Ruth Rothy of Ogden, and 18 grandchildren.
