Mrs. Lizzie Garth Ghio, age 85, relict of the late John B. Ghio, died at her home in St. Louis, Missouri on June 28th. Deceased was the daughter of the late Rhodes Garth, of this city, and a sister of the late Mrs. Arena Rankin, mother of John W. Rankin and Mrs. Jep Duncan of Paisley. Mr. Ghio was in the mercantile business here for several years in connection with the late Major Layton, shortly after his marriage they moved to St. Louis, where Mr. Ghio amassed a considerable fortune. She is survived by one son, James Ghio, who lives in St. Louis.
