TEETS, Freda M. 86 of Urbana, passed away, Sunday, July 05, 2009 in Springfield Regional Hospital, High Street Campus. She was born March 15, 1923 in Jeffersonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Nettie May (Keplinger) and Franklin Homer Myers. Freda was a health care provider for both Mercy Hospital in Urbana for 17 years and Heartland of Lakeview for 4 years. She is survived by her two sons, her daughter-in-law, of Urbana, 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her sister, of Urbana, as well as numerous nieces & nephews of several generations. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Teets, her son, Thomas "Rocky" Teets, an infant daughter, Shirley Ann Teets, a sister, Cyrena, a brother, Franklin "Jr." and 4 infant brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in the funeral home with Robert Teets officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Mechanicsburg.
