Edwin Jordan was a member of Captain David Gregg McIntosh's South Carolina Light Artillery, known as the Pee Dee Artillery.
He was mortally wounded in the Battle of Fredericksburg on 13 December 1862 as a part of General Jackson's artillery alignment on Prospect Hill. His service record shows that he "Died at Scottsville," but unfortunately does not indicate a date.
He was from Darlington District, SC and the son of Edwin Jordan, Sr. and Mary Ann Wilson Jordan. He was age 17 in 1860.
