He was born May 30, 1891 a son of George C. Cain and Mary Bonnieville Cain.
He was survived by four children, Mrs. Martha Allen and Mrs. Elizabeth Penn, both of Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Mildred Griffee and Mrs. Edna Parr, both of Brandenburg, Kentucky; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Roby, Mrs. Pearl Badgett and Mrs. Ella Bryant all of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Mr. Moses Cain of Rock Ridge community, Meade County; 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held September 1st at 1:00 pm from the New Brandenburg Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. M.C. Hash and Rev. Darrell Keith officiating. Interment will be in the New Brandenburg Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
