Dorothy Maggard 85, Sparta, Missouri died Wednesday morning in her home in Sparta.She was born December 3, 1906 in Bradleyville, Taney, Missouri, the daughter of Sam & Vina (Combs) Day. She lived throughout her life in the Bradleyville and Sparta areas and was a member of the New Mansion General Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1982 , a daughter ,Reva Neuenschwander and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Maggard and wife Juanita , Chadwick, and Glen Maggard and wife Sharon, Sparta, two brothers Robert Day, Kansas city ,and Cleo Day of Bradleyville, two sisters, Lucille Brumfield, and Farley O'neal , 10 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren and two great -great. grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the New Mansion General Baptist Church , Bradleyville, Mo. with the Rev. Ray Cartwright and Floyd Roberts officiating.

Burial was in the Patterson Cemetery in Bradleyville, Mo.
