Leo A. Janson, age 75, a resident of Harding, died Tuesday, May 14, 1985, at his home.

Leo A. Janson was born June 23, 1909 in Buckman Township to the late Michael and Antonia Janson.

He is survived by his wife, Julia of Harding; one son, Ronald of Eagle River, Alaska; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Czech of Little Falls, Mrs. Jim (Rose Marie) Preimesberger of St. Paul; brothers, Alfred, Victor and Leonard of Pierz; sisters, Mrs. Herman (Marie) Jamma and Tillie Boser of Pierz; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, two brothers, one sister and two granddaughters.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 18, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, with Father Tom Olson officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
