Hesperia: Mrs. Catherine Cosens, 71 of Hesperia, died Sunday after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 29, 1893 in Indiana and had lived in Hesperia most of her life. The former Catherine DeLong was married to Wesley Cosens March 15, 1917 at Hesperia. He died December 21, 1953. She was a member of Hesperia Methodist Church.
Surviving are 3 sisters, Mrs. Florence DeLong, Mrs. Fred Aurich of Muskegon and Mrs. C.F. Titus of Dearborn, 4 brothers, Harry of Hesperia, Albert of Fremont, Raymond of Kalamazoo and Fred of Indiana.
The funeral will be at 2pm Thursday at the Methodist Church. Burial will be at Clark Cemetery. The body is at Raymond Funeral Home.
