Funeral Services were held for Clinton E.G.Cornwell,20,who died at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Buford Cornwell near Gamaliel on Monday,January 12,1959.

Services were held at Beautiful Home Baptist Church,of which he was a member.The Rev. Emmit Strode,paster,and the Rev.Rex Hunt,officiated.

The young man was a graduate of Gamaliel High School in the class of 1956. He attended a Nashville business until health forced his withdrawal.He underwent brain surgery at Vanderbilt Hospital,Nashville,June 14,1958.

Beside his parents he is survived by three sisters,Miss Lena May Cornwell of Nashville,and Misses Bettie and Barbara Cornwell of near Gamaliel;two brothers,Bobby and Freddy Cornwell,of near Gamaliel and his maternal grandmother,Mrs. Alice Regan of the Ebenezer community.
