Martha Eula was the daughter of William Alexander and Nancy Elizabeth "Williams" Bingham. She married Robert Green Scarbrough on January 24, 1896. They were the parents of 13 children.

Mother of 13 Grown Children Dies

Services for Mrs. Martha Eula Scarbrough, 74, a lifelong resident of Webster county, who died Wednesday, June 15, at 3:15 pm at her home, were conducted at Montevista by the Rev. S E Carter and the Rev. Oliver Hood.

Interment was in the Montevista cemetery with Kilgore-Norman Funeral Home in charge.

The mother of 13 children, Mrs. Scarbrough was the daughter of the late William Alexander Bingham and Nancy Elizabeth Bingham. Her husband was the late Robert Green Scarbrough.

She leaves seven daughters, Mrs. R. A. Hill, Mrs. Helms, and Mrs. Kimbrew Carroll, all of Eupora; Miss Ruby Scarbrough of Mantee, Miss.; Miss Mamie L. Scarbrough of Columbus, Miss.; Miss Frances Scarbrough of Tampa Fla. and Mrs. Charles Shaw of Hernando, Miss., and six sons, J. A. and Jimmy E., both of Jackson, Miss.; A. P. of Mathiston, Miss.; W. G. and Robert A., both of Eupora, and T. W. of Calhoun City.

She was a Baptist.
