Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bowlus, for Peter Yorek, 88, who died Friday at Lutheran Care Center, Little Falls.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and an hour before services Monday at the church in Bowlus. The rosary society will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. today at the church, followed by parish prayers at 8:30. Peter Yorek was born in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, to Anthony and Rose (Solarz) Yorek. He farmed on the family homestead in Two Rivers Township. He married Frances A. Koshenina on May 9, 1939, in Elmdale. The couple lived on the family farm near Bowlus. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus.Survivors in-clude his wife; daughters and sons, Kathleen Welle of Holdingford, JoAnn Kroll of Royalton, Rita Symanietz of Rice, Paul of Little Falls, Ed of Sauk Rapids, Dennis of Upsala, Dave of Royalton and Joe of St. Cloud; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Anna Fussy, Agnes Psyck, Sophie Jendro, Frances Pilarski, Betty Habas, Mary, Frank, Joseph, John and Leo.
