Mrs. Arvilla M. Cole died at the home of her son, Arthur Cole, in her 84th year. She was born August 21, 1853, in Clinton county, and was the daughter of Julius and Fanny Sage. She married Samuel A. Cole September 26, 1868. Three sons were born, one dying in infancy, Mr. and Mrs. Cole were charter members of the Adventist church at Arcadia. The death of Mr. Cole occurred eight months ago.
Surviving her are Mr. and Mrs. Willett W. Cole of Mesick, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cole of Beaverton, 12 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a niece and a nephew. Those from out of town who came to attend the last rites were: Dan Cole of Blanchard and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cole of Edmore. Gladwin County Record dated 10-28/1936 Column - 7 Page - 4
