DEATH
Mrs. Samuel (Maggie) Christman, 78. of Woodsfield Route 3 died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Selby General Hospital, Marietta, where she had been a patient three weeks.
Mrs. Christman was born November 5, 1884, in Washington County, a daughter of Andrew and Ellen Scott Goodballet.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel of home; four sons, Harold, Grant and Frank all of Woodsfield Route 3 and Vernon of Ashland; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Brownfield of Bethesda, Mrs. Agnes Johnson of Malaga and Mrs. Edna Long of Batesville; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lou Rinard of Marietta, Mrs. Mae Burns and Mrs. Sena Schneider, both of East Liverpool, and a brother, Harold of East Liverpool. An infant son is deceased.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday at Gardner Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. (EST) Sunday at the funeral home with burial in Calais Cemetery. .
