Mrs. Annie Mae (Weatherford) Davidson, age 79 of Joyce, Louisiana, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. Weatherford and the late Martha (Willis) Weatherford. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Ola V. Jones; five brothers: Clarence Weatherford, Auston Weatherford, Ellis Weatherford, Elzie Weatherford, and Leon Weatherford.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by two daughters: Martha Cotton (David) of Winnfield, Jo Fannin (Johnny) of Winnfield; two granddaughters: Debby Dupree (Dan) of Goldonna and Melissa Warren (Robby) of Calvin, three grandsons: Tommy Cotton (Christie) of Winnfield, Jason Mercer (Martha) of Joyce, Joseph Mercer (fiancé, Brittany) of Winnfield; twelve great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; and one brother: Earl Weatherford of Winnfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Bruce Cardin and Jason Mercer officiating. Interment will follow in the Beech Creek Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8: p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
