Funeral for Naomi Sales, 94, of Atoy was at 2 p.m. Friday in the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Copeland and the Rev. David Cline officiating.
Mrs. Sales died June 12 in a Rusk nursing home. She was born Aug. 2, 1900, in Comanche County. Mrs. Sales was a lifelong Atoy resident and a member of the Mount Cove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon W. Sales in 1976, and son, Wylie Sales in 1980.
Survivors are a son, Arthur Sales of Atoy; two daughters and one son-in-law, Marie and Norwood Meyer of Dallas and Hazel Vaught of Atoy; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
