Anna Kaiser was the daughter of Joseph and Crecentia Limberger Kaiser. She was the third wife of Chris Von Der Ahe. They married in Alton, Madison, Illinois in August 18, 1898, after his divorce from Della Wells earlier that year. After Von der Ahe's death in 1913, Anna married John Behnen. After her death, her funeral Mass was held at St. Theresa of Avila Church on Grand and N. Market Streets, and she is buried with Von Der Ahe. A lifesize statue of "Der Poss Bresident" of the St. Louis Browns, crafted by Franz Xavier Speh, is located in the center of the lot.

BEHNEN-KAISER-VON DER AHE--Of 3613 St. Louis avenue, on Sunday, Oct. 12, 1919, at 4 a.m., Anna K. Behnen, aged 45 years, dearly beloved wife of John B. Behnen, and dear sister of Max Kaiser and Louis and Julius Finninger, and our dear sister-in-law and aunt.

Funeral Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m., from William F. Paschedag's chapel, 2825 North Grand avenue to St. Teresa's Church, thence to Bellefontaine Cemetery. Motor.
