Jesse was married 1st Amanda Jane Williams 9-22-1868 in Jasper County Iowa. They were divorced about 1889 and remarried 3-7-1905 in Des Moines, Polk County Iowa.
His children were: Edward H. Lint 3/24/1869-10/26/1930; Alta Viola Lint 8/12/1873-7/31/1952; Grace Kay Lint 5/16/1881-2/19/1948; Jay Williams Lint 9/9/1884-2/14/1963.

Jesse C, Lint, 70 years of age, who entered the soldiers home from New Hampton, Oct. 28, 1906, died Monday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock, of inflammation of the bowels. He had been a hospital patient ever since he was admitted. The deceased served in Company C, Second regiment of the Maryland infantry, enlisting Aug. 3, 1861 at Cumberland, Md. He was discharged Sept. 29, 1864, at the same place. He was wounded in the head during the war, which injury had bothered him somewhat ever since. The deceased leaves a widow, Mrs. Amanda Lint, now of this city, and several children, Edward H., of Chicago; Mrs. Alta V. Wormley, of New Hampton; Mrs. Grace Van Holm, of Minneapolis. and J. W. Flint, who is on board the battleship Oregon.

The funeral, was held Wednesday, evening at 6:30 o'clock from the soldiers' home.
