William Brian Davis, 39, of Lake Charles, LA died on Monday, June 29, 2009. Brian was born July 9, 1969 in New Orleans, LA, was raised in Independence, LA, and presently resided in Lake Charles, LA. He was a graduate of Independence High School and worked as a sales manager for Union National Life Insurance Company for the past nine years. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Brian was a member of the CCA and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed competition shooting, singing karaoke and playing golf. He never met a stranger and loved being with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn Little Davis of Lake Charles; children, Douglas Davis and wife Tiffany, Danielle Davis, and Darla Davis, all of Loranger, LA, and Bailey Grace Davis of Albany, LA; step-children, Justin Little and Kelsey Little, both of Lake Charles; mother, Katherine Davis of Harahan, LA; sister, Kathy McLin of Gretna, LA; brother, Scott Davis of Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Holly McLin, Olivia Davis, Dominick Davis, and Matthew Chatelain; and life-long friends, Jody Biamonte and George Guzzardo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Davis.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service, with a rosary being at 1:45 PM.
Pallbearers for the service will be Kurk Chatelain, David Guzzardo, George Guzzardo, Jody Biamonte, Scott Davis, Justin Little, Mike Corrente, and Mark Fontenot.
