David Pohlmeier was born near Lawrence, Nebraska, on April 24, 1913, and died November 16, 1930, aged 17 years, 6 months and 22 days. His passing just as he was emerg (sic) to his parents and other members of the family and words are futile to express the deep sympathy felt for them. Besides the parents he is survived by two brothers, Ireneus and Herbert, by three sisters, Edna, Germane and Mrs. Norbert Rempe, by his grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Gerhart Schroer, all of the vicinity, and by numerous other relatives. Private funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, follwed by a short service at the grave in St. Stephens cemetery, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. Hahn.
