Thomas Throssell was baptised Sep 1837 per parish records of Gr Stukeley.

Never told his children who is parents were. Much research has led to what is now believed to be his parents and ancestors.

Chas Throssell wrote that his father's place was what is now known as Wyeth, Oregon (about 4 - 5 miles from Cascade Locks). The married couple left Wyeth for Dayton Washington soon before Harry's birth. From there they moved to Marengo and finally to Roy, Washington.

Chas wrote that his father was a fearless unassuming man. One who would of been large enough for whatever environment he may have been placed. He is buried next to Mary at the Pioneer - Kings Hill Cemetery, Ft Lewis just over the hill from the family homesite and apple orchard.

Per his tombstone Thomas was 67 years old when he died March 25, 1902. Thomas Throssell born to John and Elizabeth Bentley Throssell from Huntington England was born 1837.

Believed to have been married at Jane's house. Jack Lyons played the fiddle for the dance. Marriage license says a Rev. Condon performed the ceremony.

Was an original officer of the Pataha Grange when it was first organized on January 25, 1882. Was the treasurer of the Patron's Flouring Mill Company when it was incorporated in 1879 in the town of Marengo, Columbia County, Washington.
