Lois Edna Patterson, 90, of Ridgely, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgely First Baptist Church, where she taught the Dorcas Sunday school class, Vacation Bible School and was very active in all church activities.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Ridgely First Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Bragg officiating. Burial will be New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Sheppard of Germantown; two sons, Gail Franklin Patterson and wife, Jean, of Franklin, and Morris Patterson and wife, Yolande, of Collierville; eight grandchildren, Steven Patterson, Jennifer Bragg, Lou Ann Griffin, Marijean Wagner, Bill Sheppard, Scott Sheppard, Vickie Aebischer and Frank Patterson; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Franklin Patterson; and a son, Bryan Kent Patterson.

Pallbearers will be Steve Patterson, Scott Sheppard, Frank Patterson, Bill Griffin, Bill Sheppard and Kyle Aebischer. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Harris Leane.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to Ridgely First Baptist Church.
