Engaged Battles of Champion Hill, MS, Black River Bridge, MS, and Siege of Vicksburg, MS. Discharged for disability July 21, 1864.
Invalid’s Pension filed, nervousness, May 27, 1865. Died Nov. 11, 1894, Iowa Soldier’s Home, Marshalltown, IA.
