Area Man Is Aboard Lost Plane

Sergeant Steven J. Chohrach, son of Adam and Zsuzsanna D. Chohrach of Lewis Run, s a member of the crew aboard a B-17 on combat patrol missing out of Langley Field, Va. near Cape Hatteras, NC, according to a telegram received Friday by his parents.
Sergeant Chohrach 22 a radio man, enlisted in the United States Air corps two and a half years ago and had been stationed at Langley Field since.
He attended the Bradford St. Bernard schools and graduated from St. Bernard High school with the class of 1938. He last visited at the home of his parents two weeks ago.

the Atlantic Ocean, off Cape Hatteras, North
Carolina, while on anti-submarine patrol
from Langley Field (Virginia).
