Arthur Deller Dies Saturday

Arthur O. "Art" Deller Jr., 72, of St. Marys died Saturday at Camden Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kings Bay Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys. Burrial with Masonic rites will be 3 p.m. at Chapel Park Cemetery in Brunswick. Pallberrers will be grandsons, Chris Walker and Ronnie O' Quinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Salim Osta and employees of James Rivers Corp. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Edo Miller-Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home in Kingsland.

Surviving are his wife, Annette S. Deller of St. Marys; two sons, John A. Parker and Danny E. Parker, both of Brunswick; two daughters, Grace Parker Ownes of Brunswick and Donna Parker Youmans of Statesboro; five sisters, Lorraine D. Burson of Chillocothe, Mo., Hazel D. Sumstine of Stover, Mo., Viola D. Williamson of Rogers, Ark., Mary Evelyn D. Chrisman of Warrensburg, Mo., and Annabell D. Lenhart of Bertrand, Neb.; a brother, David Deller of Roseburg, Ore.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a native of Appleton, Mo., and had been a resident of St. Marys for 1 ½ years. Before moving to St. Marys, he was a long-time resident of Brunswick. He was retired from James River Corp. in St. Marys.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Ocean Lodge 214 in Brunswick and Allee Temple of Savannah. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Kings Bay Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Glynn County Police Auxiliary.
