Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Williams Funeral home and military rites and burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Born in Superior, he lived most of his life here where he operated the Bossemeyer Hatchery.
A World War I veteran, he was a member of the American Legion and the Elks.
Surviving are a son, Alan, Crete; a daughter, Mrs. John Marks (Julene), Andrews Air Force Base; a sister,Freda Stubblefield, Minneapolis; and four grandchildren.
