Kathy Bowlin-Riggins, 55, of Rison, passed away on September 22, 2004 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born on October 25, 1948 in Cleveland County.
Kathy graduated from Rison High School. She was a homemaker and attended Trinity Faith Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Bowlin; and two brothers, Joe Bob Bowlin and Jesse Eugene Bowlin.
Kathy is survived by her second husband, James L. Riggins (wed 1998); her first husband, William Owen Permenter (wed in 1970); her son, David Permenter (Juanita) of Warren; two grandchildren, Johnathon Permenter and Phoebe Permenter; her mother, Ola Mae Leopard-Bowlin of Rison; three brothers: Billy Bowlin of Watson Chapel, Randy Bowlin of McCaskill, and Doyle Bowlin of Rison; and five sisters: Myrtle Ford of Rison, Linda Pennington of Texas, Barbara Cox of Rison, Patricia Wilson of Gulf Port, Mississippi, and Teresa Bowlin of Rison.
The graveside services will be held at New Hope Cemetery near Rison with Brother Calvin Terry and Brother Joseph Stack officiating.
Pallbearers will be Keith Leopard, Douglas Pennington, Kirby McGriff, Jackie Cox Jr., Jerry Bowlin and Randy Hollis.
