Ola Mae Bowlin, age 85, of Rison went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 3, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 4, 1929 in Rison, Arkansas to the late Julius Jackson Leopard and Lucy Mae Lunsford Leopard. S

he loved quilting, gardening and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by husband, J. D. Bowlin, three children Joe Bob Bowlin, Jessie Eugene "Gene" Bowlin, Kathy Riggins and three brothers Raymond Leopard, Almus Leopard, Siber Leopard and one son-in-law Richard Ford.

Survivors are three sons, Billy Bowlin (Marty) of Rison, Randy Bowlin (Michelle) of McCaskill, Doyle Bowlin of Rison; five daughters, Myrtle Ford of Rison, Barbara Gwen Cox (Jackie) of Rison, Patricia Wilson (Teddy) of Gulfport, Mississippi, Linda Pennington of Warren, Teresa Bowlin of Rison; two brothers, Herman Darel Leopard of Rison, Jesse Leopard of Little Rock; daughter-in-law Glenda Bowlin of Rison; twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brian Roberts and Brother David Leopard officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Rison.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., March 5, 2014 at the funeral home.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials can be made to the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
