Aged Lady Passes Away After Brief Illness--The Mother of a Large Family--Funeral Not Yet Decided Upon.
Mrs. Julia Franklin Crowell Treloar, widow of the late Mr. William Treloar, died at her home on North Brevard street at 8:30 o'clock last night after an illness of six days. The deceased was 77 years of age, having been born in Stanly county, near New London, September 20, 1829. July 10th, 1845, she was wedded to Mr. Treloar. Thirteen children were born to them, of whom seven are living, namely, Mrs. Annie B. Hughes, of Biloxi, Miss.; Mrs. oJseph[sic] B. Short, of Bay Horse, Idaho; Mr. G. B. Treloar, of New York; B. F. Treloar, of Charlotte; Edgar B. Treloar, of Idaho, and Walter H. Treloar, of Chicago. The funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. They will probably be announced to-day.
Mrs. Treloar was a woman of culture and refinement. She lived for many years in Charlotte and was known and beloved by all those with whom she came in contact. She possessed a strong mind and body and until a short time before her death, was unusually vigorous. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Funeral of Mrs. Treloar.
The funeral of Mrs. Julia Franklin Crowell Treloar, whose death occurred Sunday night, will take place at the home, at the corner of Seventh and Brevard streets, this morning at 11 o'clock. The service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. J. R. Howerton, assisted by Rev. Dr. Martin D. Hardin. The interment will be made in Elmwood Cemetery.
