Retired Daycare Worker GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mrs. B. Gertrude Brosious age 82, wife of the late Irvin Brosious entered into rest in Athens, Alabama on Friday, June 26, 2009.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Interment to follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brosious will lie in state at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Brosious retired from Warren Baptist Church after working in the church daycare for twenty four years. She was a charter member of West Acres Baptist Church. She warmed everyones heart with her hugs and sweet smile, she will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include, two sons, Don Brosious and his wife Anne of Hephzibah, Alan Brosious of Evans, two daughters, Kathy Linyard and her husband Larry of Corpus Christi, TX and Lisa McDaniel and her husband Hal of Grovetown. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Brosious was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Louetta Reyer, one brother, Bobby Reyer and one grandson, Byron Williamson.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Harper, Jerry Olson, O'neal McClure, Roy Ellis, Everett Parks, and Frank Allen Honorary pallbearers will be the Love Sunday School Class at West Acres Baptist Church.
Donations may be made to the West Acres Baptist Church Building Fund 555 Gibbs Rd. Evans, GA. 30809. The family will receive friends tonight, Monday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
