Truman Armstrong
Truman (Henry) Armstrong Jr., 58, died of pneumonia Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital.
He was born June 20, 1899, in Salt Lake City, to T. Henry and Eliza T. Sessions Armstrong.
Mr. Armstrong married Mildred Kesler Sept. 8, 1925, Bountiful.
He was a former pharmacist, employed at Clearfield NSD as planner-estimater, 14 years. Retired in July. DV life member; University of Utah pharmacy graduate, 1927. Was former commander Geo. R. Day, American Legion Post and member of Bountiful Jeep Posse.
Survived by his widow, three sons, daughter, Byron K., T. Robert, Mrs. Dick (Julia Ann) Peck, Bountiful; seven grandchildren; father, Henry Armstrong; three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Patience) Hatch, Lakewood, Calif.; Mrs. Gordon (Beatrice) Stringham, Bountiful; Mrs. Max (Florence) Bishop, Kaysville; brother, Harold S. Ogden.
Funeral will be held Saturday at noon, at Bountiful First ward chapel, Bishop Keith A. Hansen, officiating.
Music at Union Mortuary will be played by Mrs. Fern Sessions.
Prayer at the mortuary, Roy Sessions.
Prelude and postlude music at the chapel, Lorene Haacke.
Invocation, Gordon Stringham.
The Navy Base quartet will sing a number.
Speaker, William Burton.
Organ solo, Mrs. Fern Sessions.
Speaker, Dr. L.B. Harmon.
Vocal solo, Joseph Wood.
Benediction, Floyd Q. Hatch.
