Eugene A. Bringaze, 77, of 1832 Holmes Ave., died at 9:16 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Hospital.


Born in Quincy, he was the son of Christopher P. and Susan Dunn Bringaze.


Prior to his retirement, he was an insurance agent for the Knights of Columbus.


He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and K of C Council 364.


Surviving are his wife, Lila (Lawless); one son, Eugene A. Jr., of Belleville; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Heid, of Springfield; Mrs. George Rabbitt, of Affton, Mo.; and Mrs. Walter Ashbury, of Belleville; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Doellmann and Mrs. Virginia Zwick, both of Quincy; two brothers, Frank, of Quincy; and Joseph, of Chicago; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Services were at Blessed Sacrament Church.


Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
