Lois Blake, "Grandma" rests easy now, having departed this life June 11, 1997 to be reunited with her husband, Francis. Born October 27, 1919 to Samuel David and Serena Ramsey Blake in LeFlore County. She was 77. Grandma was wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother "GG", sister, neighbor and friend. She always took these jobs seriously and, as a result, she never failed. She was a beautiful person inside and out. If a person lives a good life, they leave a void when they are gone. Such is the case with Grandma. We miss her dearly, but we are all better for having known her. "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?" Psalms 42:1,2 (NIV). She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Francis Mason, and her precious grandson, Timothy Mason. She is survived by her sister, Viola Walker; sons & daughters, Larry & Perry Mason, Kenneth & Pat Mason, Nell & Mike McCubbin, Sandy & Don Carey and Za and J.T. Fritts; grandchildren, Chuck & Mary Ann Mason, Allen Mason, Yvette Eads, Mark Queen, Mike & Stacy Queen, LeAnn & Willy Dillard, David Carey, Curtis & Drew McCubbin, Joshua Buffalohead, Jamie, Jordan & Jodi Frit ts; great grandchildren, Randy Mason, Justin Eads, Emily & Allison Dillard.
