Viola of Midwest City passed away January 4, 2006 at the age of 89. She was born September 12, 1916 in Talihina, OK to Samuel and Serena C. "Ramsey" Blake. In 1932 she married M.C. Walker on Thanksgiving Day at Rocky, AR. She was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nicoma Park. She is survived by her husband; 3 sons: Blake and wife Barbara Walker of MWC, Tommy T. and wife Lou Walker of Moore, and John and wife Linda Walker of Tulsa; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Also 1 daughter-in-law Sherry Walker of Dallas, TX and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son James J. Walker, 2 sisters Lois Mason and Jewel Blake, and 1 brother Arthur David Blake. A Graveside service will be at 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Arlington Memory Gardens.
